Leona Lewis after the Attack



Leona Lewis is staying positive after being
attacked by a fan.

The 'Bleeding Love’ singer was left badly
bruised after being punched in the face by a
mentally imbalanced devotee, who had
queued for hours to meet her at a London
book signing two weeks ago.

Speaking about the incident for the first time,
Leona – who rose to fame after winning the
2006 series of British TV talent show
'The X Factor’ – said the incident was an
unfortunate side effect of her success.

She said: 'It could have been worse.
I'm still alive.

"It is just something you have to deal with
when you have fame - and the positives far
outweigh the negatives.

"I don't like to dwell on the negatives. I'm a

only her hectic work schedule
and world tour helped her through
a 'challenging' 12 months which
saw her marriage to the British
film director end and courts
initially block her application
to adopt four-year-old Malawian
girl Mercy.

Moby to Donate to Shelters for Domestic Violence



Moby has announced that he will donate
the proceeds of his three forthcoming
California tour dates to help that
state's struggling domestic violence
shelters.

Since Governor Schwarzenegger
eliminated all State funding for shelter
services in a July line-item veto,
six California shelters have been forced
to close, and dozens of others have laid
off staff and cut services.

Moby said that he wanted to make his
donation in a way that would ensure that
the funds had a statewide impact.

'I've decided to give all of the revenue
from my upcoming California shows to the
California Partnership to End Domestic
Violence,' he said. 'My hope is that by
doing this I will enable domestic
violence prevention workers to continue
their work, and also encourage other
people to step in and help raise funds
for domestic violence prevention and
care. Domestic violence is equal parts
prison and torture for many women, and
my sincere hope is that we can step up
and help to protect women in California
and end domestic

New Order Frontman Shark Attack



Bernard Sumner was attacked by a 30ft
shark while sailing.

The former New Order star said the
terrifying incident, which happened
just off the coast of Scotland in
August, was his 'hairiest moment' in
25 years of sailing.

a 30 ft shark. The boat nearly sank
and there was a big imprint of a huge
shark in the paint on its bottom.'
