Dance Troupe Snatched It From Susan Boyle
The whole world waited eagerly for the finale
of Britain's Got Talent especially for the performance
of Susan Boyle. Boyle having the media all over her
experienced a tough week but despite of that she
delivered for her fans.
Susan Boyle had an outstanding performance but
came in second to Diversity, a 10-member British Dance
Troupe. The winner received 100,000 pounds
($160,000)and an opportunity to perform at the Royal
Variety Performance before the Queen herself.
After her performance Boyle thank everyone saying;
"I want to thank the people for all the support
they've given me, especially the people at home and
people at the audience. Thank you all very much."

George Strait: ACM Artist Of The Decade
Academy of Country Music crowned George Strait
"Artist of the Decade" during an all star concert aired
last May 27 8PM, Eastern.
The special was to honor the 25-year career of the
"King of Country". George Strait holds 43 number
one hit singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs
charts.
Artist who performed in the concert include Brooks & Dunn
Jamie Foxx, Faith Hill, Dierks Bentley, Jack Ingram
Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw and many others.
Strait joined only four artists honored as "Artist of the
Decade". Marty Robbins in 1969, Loretta Lynn in
1979, Alabama in 1988 and Garth Brooks in 1998.

Rapper T.I. To Arkansas Prison
Before noon local time Clifford Harris(T.I.'s real name) is
expected to be in the prison facility for federal weapons
charges.
"T.I.'s Final Goodbye Bash"- a going away concert party
thrown by the Grammy winner sends a message wanting
others to learn from his mistakes.
"I'm doing the best I can to get out there, man, and put
something positive on these young kids, man"..."I try my best.
I need y'all help, though." said T.I.
T.I. was placed on house arrest while doing community
service and a fine of $100,300 in addition to serving prison
time for purchasing weapons and silencers.
The rapper is behind the Grammy-winning
"Swagga Like Us" and one of the highest earning rappers
with an estimated $16 million purse in 2006.

New Album For The Beastie Boys
Hot Sauce committee as revealed in an email
will be the name of the new Beastie Boys album.
It will be the trios latest album since 2007's
instrumental The Mix-up.
The album will be more traditional according to
band member Adam "Ad-Rock" Horowitz as
he earlier told Billboard.
"It's a lot of vocals-very wordy," he said. "It's political,
depending on what you call political. You know, if toilet
talk and fart jokes are political, which they can be,
in that sense yeah, very."
The release date of the album is yet to be announced.

Jim Nabors Sings at Indianapolis 500
It was in 1972 when they first invited Nabors to sing
"Back Home Again in Indiana". He made an outstanding
performance and since then he has always been the first
choice to sing that piece in the Indy 500. Earlier today,
Nabors sang the same song honoring the tradition of the
Indianapolis 500.
Jim Nabors is the actor/singer behind the famous sit-coms
The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle.
He is also known in several 1960's and 1970's variety shows.
Jim Nabors now fully supports and volunteers with the
American Liver Foundation. As a liver transplant survivor himself,
he intends to take part in helping those who are in battle with the disease.

Susan Boyle's Fans Are Waiting
Sunday is a big day for Britain's Got Talent fans since 40
semi-finalist are gonna be performing on that date.
A lot of people can no longer wait for one particular star:
Susan Boyle.
The Scotland native 47-year-old surprised both the judges
and audiences when she performed Les Miserables'
"I Dreamed a Dream" a few weeks ago. Her performance
earned her an almost automatic three yes from the judges and
made her an overnight star. That lead her in a chain of television
performances including a via satellite appearance on Oprah.
Sunday's semi-final will be grouped into five and Boyle will be
competing with several dancers and a dog act.
According to Britain's Got Talent Web site, May 30 is the grand
finale where two acts from each semi-final will perform.

MeatLoaf Sings With Pearl Aday
Fox's Don't Forget The Lyrics (May 22 FRI 8/7c) is an
exciting music game show which showcased great artists
like Boyz II Men,Bret Michaels and Kenny Loggins
in the past is now returning to start a brand new season.
This time the season opens with a father-daughter tandem;
MeatLoaf and Pearl Aday.
MeatLoaf is the man behind the album Bat Out of Hell
which sold 43 million copies worldwide. He is also the one
responsible for the hit songI'd Do Anything For Love
(But I Won't Do That).
His partner, Pearl Aday is his daughter who used to sing
back up for Him (Meatloaf) and is now the lead singer of
her own band.
MeatLoaf and Pearl will be singing to raise funds for their
favorite charity, The Painted Turtle (a charity for seriously ill children)

Chris Brown To Work With Carrie Underwood?
After the alleged assault case which held his career a while,
the talented Chris Brown is back on the road doing his music.
Reports say that the singer is considering a country cut in his next album.
The song "Trapped in a Dream" is being looked at and according to
Robert Allen, a writer/producer working with Brown "maybe we'll see
an appearance from Carrie Underwood
or someone like that".

Kris Allen Wins American Idol Crown
In a surprising turn of events, the student from Arkansas
Kris Allen was named the eight season American Idol champion.
They say it's his cool voice, his boy-next-door image and as the
judges pointed out; he always stayed in his personality.
Before host Ryan Seacrest announced the result, judge
Simon Cowell had some words for the top two rivals "I thought
you were both brilliant, unusually incredibly nice people and
I think the both of you should be very proud of what you've
achieved last night and the future's all yours".
After Ryan unveiled the winner with almost one hundred million
votes cast, even Kris Allen was stunned himself saying "I'm sorry...
I don't know what to feel right now, but this is crazy!"
The season eight finale was packed by a number of great
performances from former American Idol contestants and
artists like; Keith Urban, Carlos Santana, Queen Latifa,
Jason Mraz, Cyndi Lauper,Lionel Richie, Fergie,
the Black Eyed Peas and others.
